Some experiences begin with a single glass and end with the discovery of a whole world of flavors. On October 5th, The Hat Rooftop invites you to explore the Champagne region with Lara Cesco in a tasting designed for enjoyment, comparison, and discovering what makes each bottle unique.
Over the course of an hour, we will explore different styles of Champagne to appreciate their aromas, flavors, and nuances. We will discover how each expression of the region varies and how the passage of time can completely transform the experience in the glass.
The tasting will feature a selection of four Champagnes, including a bottle aged for 20 years—an opportunity to discover how time itself can become one of wine's greatest ingredients.
To accompany the journey, we will enjoy a selection of cheeses, salmon, and ham, chosen to reveal how different Champagne profiles pair with each product. After all, a fine glass of wine always tastes better when shared with something that complements it.
